Anchor decor, it’s a big trend! These anchor cork coasters are simple to create and will add a naval theme to your decor. Not only that, they will protect your tables and surfaces as much as they create a fun look.
Materials I used:
- Cork board Coasters, cut from a larger piece of cork board
- Anchor Stencil (5.75″x6″)
- Stencil Brush and white paint
Place your anchor stencil on top of the cork board stencil and to make sure it won’t move, tape it in place.
Dip your brush lightly in paint and begin tapping the stencil with an up and down motion. Avoid using a brushing motion that could make the paint spread under the stencil and potentially ruin your project.
When you finish painting the stencil on the cork coaster, you may want to add another layer of paint to make sure your design shows nice and bold.
Carefully lift the stencil and check that you are happy with the results.
Now that you are done with your first coaster, continue painting as many coasters as you want for your table.
Now you are finished and you have some elegant coasters for your home, ready for a sailor themed party or simply adding splendor to your decor. Please share your coaster art with us @Stencil1
