It’s Back to School time and kid’s want their space to do their homework (or not). This is a project the family can do together!
This Slatted-wood sign from Target is perfect for a door sign!
My nephew Julian loves music so I used the 6-pack Graffiti set that has retro music imagery stencils. We also used some letter stencils from Stencil Style 101.
Start with the letters, stenciling in each letter to spell your name. I started in the middle of the name so I would have a centered design. If you want it perfect, you can lightly pencil in the letters first to see if you like hw it all gets placed. I am not so picky.
Julian’s Room!
I want to music imagery to be symmetrical so I placed the designs where I want one side to appear, then I will have to wash and dry the stencils to flip them for a symmetrical second set.
Stencil in using very little paint.
See your work!
Use different fun colors.
Now I have to flip the stencils for the symmetrical look.
Here it is! I like the balance of the mirror image designs. Hang it on your door and share a pic with us at @stencil1
