We’re so excited to be working with Stencil1 on this giveaway! Their stencils are the best so anyone would be lucky to win some. Good luck to everyone!

    • Gloria Nordine

This is a great giveaway. I would absolutely love to win this magnification lamp. My vision is extremely poor and makes it hard for me to do many things. Winning would be an incredible blessing. I feel that whomever wins will be very happy.

  • Lilian

Would definitely use my OttLite to help trim the edges of my prints! It’s really hard to get an accurate cut just with just a ruler and blade.

  • WENDY BROAD

Need major light improvement to see when crocheting or knitting especially with dark colors, Thank You 🙂

  • Valda B

I am very attracted to this Ottlite, like a moth LOL. I need better lighting and magnification to trace over my photographs, to design my crochet picture patterns. And then of course, to actually crochet. Thanks for the chance to win.

  • Ann Edwards

A magnifying Ott light would be such a tremendous addition to my scrapbooking supplies as I have recently had cataract surgery and, while I see better at distances, I must still contend with glasses for close work.

  • Tracey Albrecht

I absolutely love your drawings, I’m lucky if I can draw a straight line! I do however crochet a lot ok almost constantly and as time goes on my eyesight continues to worsen! I would absolutely love an Ottlites to continue doing what I love to do create!

  • Marilyn C. Robinson

Wow! If I had one of these Ott lites I would use it every evening when I sit down to do my knitting. My husband could also use it when he does his fly tying for fishing. This would be a game saver for both of us on our eyes.

  • Christine M. Miller

I would use this Ottlite every evening while I knit. I knit a lot of baby items and could use the lights and magnifiers to see my work!

  • Naomi

I Would be able to finish a counted cross stitch work I had to put aside because I could not see pattern and canvas-properly

  • Kymi A

I would be super thrilled to have this for making my jewerly, i’ll be able to see all the detail , especially holes and create amazing items with this incredible prize. Thank you!

  • Patricia Hersl

Age impaired. The ears, the hip, the eyes. As I applique, it gets harder and harder to see, especially on dark fabrics. Love me some Ott!

  • Pam

What a wonderful lamp! I’d use the floor lamp for reading and the magnifying extension for applique and decorative stitching on quilts. And I would love to use these stencils on quilts too. Thanks for the awesome chance to win.

  • april vogel

I would give to my son or daughter who both love to draw or I might keep it myself so I can read at night in bed.

  • koalabc

  • Tiffanie

Oh I would love to win this combination. Since my 2 brain surgeries my eyesight has gone down hi… Having a magnifier lamp woulde make doing needle work so much easier. I’ll be praying that I win so I can start crafting again. Good luck to everyone.

  • Helen King

I would love to win this! I do most of my crafting at night and this would be a tremendous help.

  • loretta

Would set this next to my chair as a lamp and then be able to use the light and magnifier to see when I crochet and read patterns, sew and for fine details on my water color painting. Overhead lights in the ceiling or regular table lamps just don’t provide enough light where I need it whether reading or crafting.

  • Rick J Bryant

Need this for my Mother to see and read and sew!!!! She has Macular degeneration and it is a very big issue!!! And yes, I will use it too!!!!!

  • Ralph Balzac

I would give to my wife, whose eyes need lots of light and magnification, so she could better handle her knitting and reading.

  • Sharon

Being retired, I finally have time for what is very important to me—crafting!! I do several types and need an Ottlite for all of them–embroidery, crochet, plastic canvas, latch hook making quilt tops, and adult coloring books. This would be the answer to my prayers. Thank you for having this giveaway, and “Congratulations” to whoever wins. I know you will be very pleased with the Ottlite.

  • Kacy

Owning an Ottlite is my wish. Getting old is not for sissies or for people who crochet with dark colored yarns…lol. This would help me immensely with the dark colored items…and the fine print on most items…

  • Cindy Shepherd

I would use my Ott lite to work on my scrapbooks or my cross stitch pictures. The light helps me match colors for a perfect look!

  • Nora Helma

I am so excited about this giveaway. I crochet A LOT and this would make it so much easier to tell colors apart (especially at night). It’s surprising how similar some of the colors look at night in artificial light (like blues and greens). I guess the fact that I’m getting older doesn’t help but I prefer to blame it on the lighting! Thanks for the chance to win this.

  • Jan Thorne

I need an Ottlite, when l am working on my needle work or knitting. Really would help, putting a good light on the subject.

  • Natalie Hillier

I would love a light like this, it would help me see the stitches when i crochet, or do any of my crafts. I cant seem to find the right lamp that will do and give me more light. This would be awesome to have. Thanks foelr the chance to win.

  • Amanda Meister

I would use it for many different crafts like sewing, crocheting, and let my daughter use it for painting, drawing and scrapbooking. What a great giveaway. Thank you!

  • Gaynell dorrance

I would use this for quilting some times when I work on landscape quilts it is hard to see my quilting lines in dark fabric thanks for this contest

  • Jean King

I would use the Ottlite to see my quilting work much better and improve the finished product. I would also use it for reading, crossword puzzles and adult coloring. There are lots of possibilities!

  • jean marmo

Wow – I so need this light in my craft room. As it is I cannot see what color I am using and I have trouble working at night! This would really help me out!!

  • Christopher

What an awesome light! knowing me, I’d probably use it most for checking out my plants for any pests or diseases. Sometimes you need a closer look to get a better identification.

  • Jaime Sunshine

Ottlite has the most innovative lights ever. I love to stamp, card make, scrapbook, watercolor, etc. & this magnifying light would add so many benefits in my art work. I have a tiny craft room with no windows & barely any light. An Ottlite would bring the added benefit of seeing what I am working on & being able to differentiate the colors as well. Thank you Stencil1 for teaming up with Ottlite!

  • Gretchen Riggs

I would use the ottlite when I do embroidery especially cross stitch. I don’t have good light.

  • Kathleen Jones

I would love to use the ottlite since I wear contacts and also have to wear magnifying glasses on top of that to see the fine print on anything. I would also love to try your stencils too. I do a lot of painting and the ottlite would make it so easy to see. And the stencils would add a lot of interest to the paintings. Thanks so much for a chance to win.

  • Christy Nelson

This looks like an awesome lamp. I would be able to use it for cross stitch, sewing, crocheting and colouring. Thank-you for the chance to win.

  • Ruben

What an awesome lamp. I’d definitely use it as a floor lamp to read. I’d use it as a table lamp for my every day design work since my lamps do give off a yellow hue. The eyestrain that could be relieved using the magnifier is nice. I could really dive into detail work on illustrations instead of breaking it up into small blocks because of eye strain. Also to work on models, read and proof. Good luck everyone!

  • Mariana

crafting is a huge part of my life, but my eyesight doesnt want to work with me and my projects. i always buy myself reading glasses, but they all end up lost or chewed up by my dog, so this light would save me time, money, and my sanity! I promise i’ll share a project with you guys if i win the ottlite!

  • Kristin Goodson

I would use this for my scrapbooking. I tend to work mostly at night time and my eyes are worse at that time.

  • Jennifer Essad

I would love to have a Ottlite for my crafting needs. It’s an amazing asset to crafters. I’ve had one on my wish list and if I don’t win this one I’m hoping I get one for Mother’s Day. I like to needlepoint, cross-stitch and embroider. I also sew, knit and crochet. So I would make great use of the Ottlite everyday. I know it would benefit me greatly and ease the strain on my eyes. Thank you so much for offering us this amazing chance to win.

  • Betty Courville

Since having cataracts removed from both eyes and still can’t see up close a magnifying Ottlite would greatly enhance my ability to once again be able to do my crocheting once again.

  • Yvonne Taber

I would use the the standing ott lite for my oil paintings that are quite detailed. The small one for beadwork and stichery projects. I’m also excited to try the Stencil 1 on some fabric for a project! Thank you for the opportunity to receive one!

  • Debbie McDonald

I would love to have an ottlite. It would definitely help when crocheting in the evenings. A standard table light just isn’t enough!

  • Sherri G Pugh

I would love to have an ottlite, it would help out tremendously when I create paper art and vinyl lettering

  • Jackie Watson

Would love to have this for crocheting, cross stitch, and knitting! Maybe learning to stencil!

  • Kacy

Have old eyes…need all the help I can get. Making various items right now, but seems that I am being known for my cancer hats…hmmmm

  • Jane Culmer

This would be awesome to win. I do a lot of 18-count cross-stitch and the light would make it so much easier to select the right colors and the magnifier would certainly be a benefit to my sight. Thank you!

  • Charlyn Trussell

An Ottlite would help me choose the right colors when I’m doing handwork on an art quilt or choosing a colored pencil to use. The magnifiers would help me get all those stitches in the right place and all those color strokes right where they belong.

  • Alison Madigan

I would use it to work on my crochet, making amigurumi, while watching tv with my son & husband. The magnifier would be awesome!

  • Vikki

My husband just retired and now enjoys long hours of reading. I’d love for him to have an Ottlight to ease his tired old eyes!

  • Christine Ritch

I would gift it to my aunt that is blind in one eye and has diminished vision in her other eye. She loves to read but now must read with a magnifying glass. She struggles to hold the magnifier, the book and to simply turn the pages. Winning this light would be a blessing for her and would allow her more freedom. Love Ott lights. I have a table model that makes crafting easier for my mother and I.

  • Jerlene Budnick

Love your stencils! I would use the floor light to help me see while relaxing on the couch and creating, like counting stitches or weeding vinyl, etc. I think the desk lam o would help with painting and paper crafting. Thanks for a chance to win this combo! Would love to create with your stencils!

  • Colleen Bain

These old eyes ain’t what they used to be, ain’t what they used to be….better lighting better vision, better vision, better end result!

  • Elaine Embree

Oh my, I would love to win the stencils AND the OttLite!! I would make good use of the light playing with my beads and creating new stitched bracelets! Those little bitty beads are hard to see without magnification and good light! And who knows what I would come up with using the stencils!!

  • Adrienne McCarthy

I crochet and would love to be able to better see my stitches. I’m also interested in stencils get so would be thrilled to win this prize!

  • Pam Rudzki

I make cards, do counted cross stitching, & mixed media projects. My eyes aren’t as good as they used to be so the ottlite helps.

  • Sue Putnam

I could use an Ottlite lamp for working on my Erlbacher Gearhart Speedster circular sock knitting machine!

  • Terry Miller

I would use it to make areas that I am coloring in my adult coloring book appear larger to ease coloring the fine detailed areas.

  • Linda Clouthier

I’m proud to say I own an Ottlie table lamp as well as a floor lamp. I do not have a magnifying light. If I did have one I’d use it to make stencil patterns into cross stitch and quilting patterns, and of course while doing the crafting. As someone who was known as a multi-tasker, a health condition has left me unable to do things as quickly as before. I think that if I win, the first thing I make will be about the saying that this project is made by my hands but truly given by my heart.

  • Janice Smith

I have an eye disease (Retinitis Pigmentosis) and am legally blind. I am still able to see enough to enjoy doing the crafts I love. The Ottlite magnifer lamp would enlarge for me to view better. The light would enable me to see later in the evening because my vision becomes worse then and worse in a dim area. The Ottlite would be a blessing to have.

    • CPT Mic Robertson USAR (Ret)

Janice, I too have RP and totally understand. I wish you luck! I am a disabled Vet and use my ottlight in the sewing room. Would be nice to have chair side to continue handwork!

  • June

I have been diagnosed with an eye condition which makes it very difficult to distinguish between colors and even with multiple light sources in the room I need a true light and magnifying glass. I have been looking at the Ottlite for over a year. It is difficult to spend money for something that only I can use in my household. I craft, do miniature drawings, tangle, and make cards. I would use the light not only at my desk, or at friends craft gatherings but could also use it while sitting in the living room too as it is a portable light.

As age gains upon a person like myself , my eyes are does not work like when I was young.. this would be flipping awesome to have.. It would brighten things up a lot for me not to strain my eyes. Thank you for a chance for this wonderful gift…….

  • Linda Smith

I have used Ottlites before and love them. I craft in many areas including stenciling, beadwork, and so on. I would use the lite for assistance in all of my craft endeavors. I hve some vision issues and having the magnifier would make fiddly stuff so much easier and the true light makes colour matching so much easier. I would love to have this and I appreciate the chance to win it.
