These cardboard letters from Target are a great way to customize your bedroom, desk, or shelves. You can get your initial, spell out your name or even a saying. Why not make it even more custom by painting and stenciling them?
The letters come plain, made of sturdy and paintable cardboard. You can use acrylic paints for this DIY.
We decided on our leopard print stencil, pick your favorite pattern for yours.
First paint the letter a solid color or do an ombre, we mixed orange and pink.
Once that is dry, you can place the stencil on the letter and fill in the open areas with paint. Use a stencil brush and very little paint for best results. We used a variety of colors to modernize the design.
